Hellooo! Um, Mei Lin here. First of all, thank you so much for having me as your photographer. I am so excited to work with you and get to know you more.

And I wanted to record a little screen recording walkthrough, um, just to go over your client portal. So here is the landing page for the link that I sent you, and we'll go down here.

Up here you'll find my email, and then you'll also find my information down here; feel free to email me with any questions, comments, concerns.

Um, I am always just an email away. And so here is where you'll login so you'll enter your email. If there are two of you, um, you'll use, um, whichever one is the primary email.

Um, most likely the one, um, where you received this login page from. And so we'll log in, you'll enter your password that I sent to you via that same email.

And welcome to your portal! So we'll go over, um, just generally what's included in your portal and then we'll go into specifics afterwards.

So you have home, experiences, emails, and profile. And then within the home section, you'll have business info, unread emails, incomplete forms, and open invoices.

Most of it's pretty self-explanatory, but just as a reminder,
you'll always have my email here. Um, so that way it's easy to access.

And so let's dive in a little more into the homepage. So, as we scroll down, you'll have: unsigned contracts, open invoices here, and incomplete forms at the very bottom.

The nice thing about this is that it's a user-friendly, very visual, way of finding everything that you need. Um, and/or that you need to complete for me.

So for instance, [in] open invoices. I set, um, the final bill amount to be a dollar. [soft chuckle] So, um, you'll see, um, I set it as fifty percent paid and fifty percent unpaid.
So, fifty cents paid, fifty cents unpaid.

And you'll have the nice visual colors there.
And, we'll click on things, um, in a minute, um, everything is clickable.

So now under the experiences tab, here, you'll find a dropdown menu. And right now I just have it set as one, but you'll see, um, multiple experiences here if you have them.

So for instance, if you have an engagement session and then a wedding, you'll find that here.

And then here, [are] the location details. Um, so here, I just made up a little funny address here, but you'll have your, your venue and/or location address there.

And here, you'll see again, the invoices. Um, set up in the same way, visual markers, and it'll always say incomplete, um, until you've fully paid, but don't worry, that doesn't mean that you have to pay it right away.

Find your contract, again, here. And then again, all the documents will be at the bottom.

And so you'll see, nice um labels to show what's been completed and what's incomplete. So easy to tell. And then the third tab we'll go into emails.

So here is where all the emails that I've sent you will populate. And so here, um, [reading from what's written on the screen] "this is what an email from me may look like".

And so you'll have, um, usually there'll be a button that you can click. Um, um, and yeah, so it's really easy to see all the emails, especially if you don't have a wedding, um, specific email address. So that's really helpful.

And lastly we'll go into profile. So this is your information, which, may not be extremely useful for, to you, except if there's any information that's changed, you can click this little icon here and here, it'll populate all of the, all of your personal information that you may have.

So, while I don't need you to complete everything, what is really, um, helpful for me is if your email changes, please do update it here and let me know, because that would be really helpful. And you can save and it'll show you that you saved property up here.

So now that we've gone over the general overview, let's go back and look at specifics.

So let's see unsigned contracts. So we'll click on there, and it'll bring up your contract. And so once you've signed here, your initials, you'll read through everything; you'll let me know if you have any questions whatsoever and then you'll sign and your partner will sign.

And then I will, countersign once you're both signed, um, here, you can show missing fields. So it'll show you right there if you miss anything.

And once everybody's signed, you can download the PDF right here for your records. And it is also always available via your portal.

Once you've signed, um it'll obviously, um, change the name to be signed contracts. Um, but they'll always be there for you for easy access.

And let's open the open invoices. So this again will take you to another tab and here is, um, a more formal invoice than what you'll see in your contract.

So it has all the information here. Everybody's personal information here. What your collection involves, price, payment plan over here, and then all the details here.

And then, so this will show you what you have paid and what you need to pay. if you'd like to pay online, you can do so via either of these pay now tap buttons, and you can do pay with e-check.

Otherwise, if you are not comfortable or you don't want to pay, um, online, you can always send me a check at this address listed.
